Barney's Drywall shuts out Piney Mountain, 10-0

MOUNT SAVAGE - Connor O'Rourke struck out 10 in a five-inning shutout and Aaron O'Rourke and Eli Souders knocked in a pair of runs to lead Barney's Drywall/Flintstone to a season-opening win over Piney Mountain at Dickel Field Tuesday.

Connor O'Rourke allowed four hits and walked only three in getting the win. He was aided by a nine-hit attack which featured a double and two singles by Aaron O'Rourke, two singles by Souders, and a triple by Matthew Propst. Souders scored three runs.

J. Winebrenner hit a double for Piney Mountain.

Barney's Drywall will play KMK Insurance on Thursday at LaVale Lions Field.
