Grant County downs Ridgeview, 14-4

ROMNEY, W.Va. - Dustin Van Meter had three hits and Jesse Stump scored three runs in leading Grant County Mulch over Ridgeview Enterprises Tuesday.

After a scoreless first inning, Grant County scored in the remaining four, taking control with a six-run third and a five-run fourth.

Van Meter had three singles and an RBI, Cody Rohrbaugh one single and two RBIs, and Stump a single and one RBI for Grant County.

Cameron Oates pitched all five innings, allowed five hits and struck out nine for the win.

C. Labosere doubled, singled and knocked in two runs for Ridgeview.

Grant County plays Ridgeley VFW on Saturday, at Hamilton Field, at 11 a.m.
