The Wisp wins, plays Barney's next

POTOMAC PARK - Jared Fike and Andy Umbel each had three hits to lead The Wisp over Frostburg First United 10-1 to win their first-round Hot Stove League playoff series.

Fike was 3-for-5 as was Umbel. One of Umbel's hit was a double and he drove in two runs. Winning pitcher Alex Smith had two triples and a single with an RBI. Adam Finzel also had an RBI and Josh Bittinger was 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

The Wisp (15-4) will play Barney's Drywall in the second round Tuesday and Thursday at the Hot Stove Complex.
