The 2007-2008 bowling season has ended in several leagues and discussions about summer plans, next season, awards dinners, etc. are also happening. The annual USBC association meeting is scheduled for May 20 at White Oak Lanes in Cumberland starting at 6:30 p.m.

Brobst's 782/278 leads area
Mike Brobst led area bowlers for the week rolling 782/278 in the White Oaks' Industrial League. Jim Helminiak's 729/267 was second at that center.

Corbin scores 738/300 at Wilson
This bowling season is demonstrating that the younger bowlers typically are posting the top scores in most leagues. That fact also reflects the national trend. On the PBA tour, the older bowlers (even the Hall of Fame members) are having trouble winning televised events.
