Two more 300's rolled during the week. Bob Greene scored 793/300 at Wilson Lanes and Will Clinch rolled an identical 793/300 at The Bowler.
Corey Shirey scored highest at The Bowler rolling 798/286. Bob Walker scored a 298 game in his 644 set.
At Wilson Lanes, Rodney Helsley followed Greene's high of 793 by rolling 749/267.
Shane Nickleson bowled 789/269 for the White Oaks high. Jeremiah Howsare followed rolling a big 297 game and 755 set.
Jeff Meyers scored 735/268 at Par-Matt for that center's high for the week followed by Teddy Inman's 699/259.
Brian Jose and Rodney Helsley were the leaders at Rainbow Lanes bowling 647/233 and 623/245, respectively.
Sherwood's leader for the week was Jim Russell bowling 643/235. Ross Metz was next rolling 632/241.
In the PBA Experience League at White Oaks, Elroy Shroyer was highest rolling 602/212. Don Parson's 597/203 and Mike Brobst's 568/202 were next high.
Pam Brinkman bowled 659/265 at Rainbow Lanes for the area's top lady bowler for the week. Katie Pownell was next at that center scoring 551/202.
Stephanie Sevy's 645/226 at The Bowler was the week's high for the ladies. Dawn House was next high rolling 605/233.
At Par-Matt Lanes, Anna Shahan rolled 576/214 for the ladies high followed by Mary Liller's 558/206.
Autumn Gable bowled 550/210 for the ladies high at White Oak Lanes. Donna Willison followed scoring 530/203.
Don Bower bowled 688/268 at The Bowler and was the area's top senior for the week. Bill Smith III rolled 630/236 for the senior high at Rainbow Lanes. Dick Gallagher bowled 580/213 at Par Matt and Brad Deter rolled 538/196 at White Oaks. Milton Fairgrieve scored 507/177 at Sherwood Lanes.
Aaron Sites rolled 696/245 at White Oaks and was the area's top youth bowler for the week. Seth Friend bowled 641/248 at The bowler and Justin Boyer rolled 623/234 at Wilson Lanes. Seth Baer bowled 562/192 for the youth high at Sherwood and Shawn Bennett scored 551/212 at Par-Matt Lanes.
The highest scores of the season usually occur during the final months of the season and there is no reason to expect that this year will be any different. Bowlers still miss too many single pin spares and the reason is primarily that they do not practice enough.
Good luck bowling and have fun striking out!
