We are nearing the end of the 2008-2009 bowling season and many leagues have made their arrangements for banquets and distributing awards. The Western MD USBC annual awards banquet will be held at the Cresaptown Eagles on April 25 with the dinner starting at 7 p.m. All sanctioned bowlers are welcome. For reservations contact Autumn Gable at White Oak Lanes (301-724-6262). The cost is $13 per person.

Also remember the annual association meeting for electing officers and updating by-laws. It will be held at White Oak Lanes on Tuesday, May 26, at 7 p.m.

Good luck bowling and have fun striking out!
