Brobst's 782/278 leads area

Mike Brobst led area bowlers for the week rolling 782/278 in the White Oaks' Industrial League. Jim Helminiak's 729/267 was second at that center.

Craig Davis bowled 750/258 for the week's high at Wilson Lanes. Clay Corbin followed scoring 718/279.

At The Bowler, John Corbin and Brad Burr were highest for the week rolling 736/268 and 726/257, respectively. John Wolford bowled a 289 game in his 722 set. Mike Weddle bowled a 286 in his 671 set and Jeff Uhl rolled a 290 in his 650 set.

Teddy Inman scored 680/257 for the Par-Matt's weekly high. Paul Viragh Jr. was next high rolling 677/225.

Chris Lancaster's 658/242 was the high at Sherwood Lanes. John Leptic Jr. was next high scoring 635/249.

Rainbow's Steve Kight posted A 617/214 score and their high for the week.

In the PBA Experience League at White Oaks, Chad Gable was highest rolling 638/218. Richard Horner's 604/245 and Walt Crawford's 600/224 followed.

Linda Gitt's 615/219 at The Bowler led the area lady bowlers for the week. Dawn House was next rolling 596/224.

Melissa Snyder was highest at Wilson Lanes bowling 587/202 followed by Julie Greene's 582/227.

Dee Self bowled 586/231 for the high at Rainbow Lanes. Pam Brinkman was next scoring 549/192.

Lee Wilt was highest of the ladies at Par-Matt Lanes rolling 567/193.

At White Oaks, Deb Grove rolled 542/192 for the ladies' high. Pattie McKenney followed scoring 533/188.

Alice Monahan bowled 540/203 at Sherwood Lanes.

Stan Teets bowled 613/214 at The Bowler for the area's senior high. Lou Dille scored 601/234 at Rainbow Lanes and senior Brad Deter rolled 517/194 at White Oak Lanes.

Youth bowlers Justin Smith bowled 666/239 and Megan Kyle rolled 643/237 at The Bowler. Aaron Sites scored 586/228 at White Oaks and Josh Myers rolled 538/196 at Rainbow Lanes.

On the PBA tour, the "Motel 6 Roll to Riches" was won by Parker Bohn; Norm Duke came in second.
