Brad Burr's 769/258 week's high

Brad Burr bowled 769/258 for the area's high for the week. Doug Courtney, only one pin back at 768, rolled a big 289 for his high game in the set. Buck Lease, also with a big game, scored a 288 in his 716 set.

Bobby Lannon rolled the high mark at Wilson Lanes, scoring 764/269. Bob Greene followed, scoring 736/257.

At Rainbow Lanes, Phil Whetstone bowled 746/267 for that center's high. Ernie Davis' 673/247 was next highest.

Bobby Lannon also bowled the top score at White Oak Lanes for the week. Lannon's 743/279 was followed by Greg Smith's 729/250.

John Rowe scored 671/237 for the Sherwood high. Doug Courtney was next, rolling 643/252.

Tim Chapman bowled the Par-Matt Lanes' high, scoring 660/279. Jeff Friend was next, scoring 643/226.

Derek Yates bowled 624/232 and led the scoring in the PBA Experience League at White Oak Lanes. Chris Eshelman's 621/223 and Mike Brobst's 609/223 were next highest.

Stephanie Edwards bowled 642/249 at The Bowler and was the area's top lady bowler for the week. Missy Yates was next at that center, rolling 614/222. Crystal Uhl rolled a 245 game in her 607 set.

Nancy Glotfelty bowled 586/220 for the top lady at Par-Matt Lanes. Billie Jo Baker was next, scoring 575/212.

Dee Self scored highest for the ladies at Rainbow Lanes, rolling 564/212. Lou Dille was next highest, scoring 547/211.

At White Oak Lanes, Deb Grove's 560/222 was the ladies' high for the week. Vicki Coughlin was next, rolling 553/227.

Inella Zirk's 523/204 was highest of the Wilson ladies. Jean Shoemaker's 519/192 was next.

Shirley Baker's 465/171 was the ladies' high at Sherwood.

Bill Smith III rolled 586/237 at Rainbow Lanes and was highest of the senior bowlers. Ernie Spriggs scored 552/211 for the senior high at The Bowler. Brad Deter rolled 529/195 for the senior high at White Oak Lanes.

Youth bowler, Justin Smith rolled 735/269 at The Bowler and was the area's top scoring youth. Tyler DeVore, in the same league, scored 676/243. Amanda Greene bowled 632/243 at Wilson Lanes. Megan Kyle rolled 630/235 at Sherwood Lanes and Andrew Judy bowled 574/223 at Rainbow Lanes. Scottie Brown scored 536/200 at White Oak Lanes.

Patrick Allen won his 10th title by winning the Lumber Liquidators Championship at Country Club Lanes in Baltimore. Allen defeated Wes Malott, 247-217, in the finals. The tournament started with a four-person shootout with Mike DeVaney (258) defeating Chris Barnes (257), Chris Warren (257) and Walter Ray Williams Jr. (196). DeVaney went on to defeat Rhino Page, 278-215, and Mike Wolfe, 221-220, before losing to Wes Malott, 236-207.
