I have watched many bowling matches over the years and as many of my readers know, several matches each week are won or lost by five pins or less. Then WHY do bowlers continue to try to make those impossible spares? The Big Four come to mind as well as the four-six, the eight-ten and seven-nine. Others should also be included in the list: the 4-7-10 and the 6-7-10. During a match the accumulation of those misses can easily mean the difference between winning and losing the match. Be a team player and skip the heroics. Good luck bowling and have fun striking out!
