HYNDMAN, Pa. — Kathryn Virginia Blubaugh, 61, of Hyndman, Pa., passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at the WMHS Memorial Campus.

Born April 25, 1948, in Keyser, W.Va., Mrs. Blubaugh was the daughter of the late Robert Kelley and Esther (Anderson) Kelley. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Rita LeMond.

Formerly employed at the Miners’ Hospital in Frostburg, Kathryn was a member of the Frostburg Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #1273 Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Eugene “Pete” F. Blubaugh; her sons, Robert W. McRobie, Jr., and his wife, Cecilia, Crofton; Eugene F. Blubaugh, Jr., and his wife Tina, Lonaconing; Michael Blubaugh, Keyser, W.Va.; and Randy Blubaugh, Lonaconing; her daughters, Sandra K. Rafferty and her husband, Tommy, LaVale; Pamela Cowart, of N.C.; and Sandra K. Hershberger, Cumberland; her brothers, Robert Ford; Kevin Kelley, both of Ariz.; Douglas Ford of Texas; and Steven Kelley of Va.; her sister, Roberta K. Cook, Rawlings; as well as 17 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com on Friday, May 15 from 3 to 5 and from 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, May 16 at 1 p.m., with Pastor Tom Landaker officiating.

Interment will be in Davis Memorial Cemetery.
