Pa. men nabbed in city on warrants

— CUMBERLAND — Two Bedford, Pa., men were taken into custody Wednesday morning by city police who stopped a vehicle for speeding on Interstate 68 and then discovered drug paraphernalia and became aware of outstanding warrants.

Following the 12:25 a.m. traffic stop, officers discovered that Eric Klavuhn, 43, and Michael Kovach, 26, were wanted in Bedford County on charges of burglary and theft.

A search of the vehicle revealed hypodermic syringes and other heroin paraphernalia, according to city police.

Both suspects are in the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.
