— FROSTBURG — Frostburg residents thinking it’s OK to keep their car parked in the same city spot for more than two days may want to think again.

Vehicles left snow-covered and parked in the same location for more than two days have become increasingly common in recent weeks, according to Frostburg Police Chief Royce C. Douty.

However, beginning Monday Frostburg Police officers will issue citations for the violations that bring a fine of $30 to $50.

After three violations, the vehicle will be towed, at the owner’s expense.
