— CUMBERLAND — Allegany College of Maryland will show a documentary film and hold discussion about sex trafficking Feb. 24 and 25.

The Peace Studies Club will present “Nefarious: Merchant of Souls” Feb. 24 at 6:30 p.m. and Feb. 25 at 12:30 p.m. in the College Center’s Zimmer Theatre.

The 96-minute documentary reveals the international breadth of human trafficking for the sex industry and leads the college to a Feb. 27 global observance of Shine a Light on Slavery Day.

The club has partnered with the End It Movement, the international coalition behind the Feb. 27 observance, and is raising funds to support its campaign.
