— ROCKY GAP — The owners of Rocky Gap Lodge & Golf Resort plan a job fair near the end of the month, Allegany County commissioners have said. The fair will take applications for about 100 “good-paying” casino jobs.

Rocky Gap will offer free training to prospective employees, Commissioner Bill Valentine said. In addition, construction of new conference space to replace that taken for gaming facilities could begin as early as April and would end up providing more space than is currently available.

Lakes Entertainment recently obtained $17.5 million credit line to help finance the project.

Evitts Resort LLC, which now owns the lodge and resort, is a subsidiary of Lakes. The lodge and resort are located in Rocky Gap State Park.
