Fugitives targeted in latest Safe Streets initiative

Police seeking 15 on open warrants

CUMBERLAND — The Cumberland Safe Streets Program is conducting its April warrant initiative this week in combination with citizen cooperation.

“Once again we are seeking the citizens’ assistance,” said Safe Streets Program Coordinator David Goad. “The objective is to involve our community neighbors, public safety and social service partners in helping to make our streets safer in our efforts to reduce the backlog of current arrest warrants.”

The Cumberland Police Department’s Safe Streets Program is requesting residents in the city and surrounding communities to assist in the apprehension of numerous individuals wanted for various criminal activities.

The following 15 city residents are wanted on open arrest warrants.

• Leon Wilton Britton, 26, violation of probation.

• Heather Kaelynn Hamilton, 23, failure to appear for theft.

• Dennis  Urgent, 42,  criminal indictment for controlled dangerous substance violations.

• Vernon Anderson III, 23, criminal indictment for CDS violations.

• Charles Robert Bauman II, 41, two violations of court order.

• Jeremy Allen House, 34, violation of probation.

• Joseph Green, 41, domestic assault.  

• Gabrielle Jewel Poe, 34, violation of probation.  

• Malcolm Allen Parsons, 20, burglary.

• Mario Alexander Caperna, 53, failure to appear for failure to obey lawful order and failure to appear for disorderly conduct.

• Barbara Sue Flanagan, 35, violation of probation.

• Virginia Mae England, 19, failure to appear for CDS violations.

• Dawn Marie Quinones, 22, failure to appear for failure to obey lawful order.

• William Ray Martz, 54, violation of probation.

• James Lee Middletown Jr., 46, failure to re-register as sex offender  and violation of probation.
