— DAVIS, W.Va. — With more than 130 inches of natural snow at Canaan Valley Resort, ski season is being extended to March 23, according to Paul Redford, district administrator for West Virginia State Parks.

This means skiers will have an additional three weeks to enjoy the slopes at this Tucker County destination.

“Slope conditions are excellent and the forecast for a longer winter is encouraging for winter sport enthusiasts,” Redford said.
