27 fugitives nabbed in Safe Streets takedown

— CUMBERLAND — A warrant initiative conducted last week by the Cumberland Police Department’s Safe Streets Program resulted in 27 arrests out of 32 warrants served. The Operation Safe Streets Warrant Initiative began March 25 and concluded March 29.

“The goal continues to be making our streets safer through the reduction of backlogged arrest warrants. The Safe Streets Operation sought citizen help in locating and apprehending individuals on open arrest warrants,” said David Goad, Safe Streets program coordinator and former Allegany County sheriff.

“This is another successful operation resulting from citizen assistance and the hard work by all the officers that participated in this operation.”

March 25

• Jerome Joseph Phillips III, 35, Cumberland — circuit court indictment for first-degree assault and 19 counts of burglary, held without bond.

• Joseph Keith Spangler, 49, Cumberland — failure to appear for second-degree assault, $2,500 bond.

• Matthew Allen Sayre-Lue, 24, Wilmington, N.C. — failure to appear for driving while suspended, released on personal recognizance.

• Nicole Lynn Harper, 33, Cumberland — violation of probation, $1,000 bond.

• Samantha Leigh Quick, 21, Cumberland — violation of probation, held without bond.

• Brett Allen Denby, 28, Cumberland — fraud, $10,000 bond.

• Stephanie Lynn Wright, 26, Cumberland — circuit court indictment for theft, held without bond.

• Randall James Kelley II, 32, Frostburg — circuit court criminal indictment for theft, held without bond.

March 26

• Cody Randall Feaster, 22, Ridgeley, W.Va. — failure to appear for violation of probation and three theft warrants, $20,000 bond.

• Meriah Ann Haberlein, 25, Cumberland — second-degree assault, released on personal recognizance.

• Charles Kevin Jerard Perkins, 23, Cumberland — failure to appear for controlled dangerous substance violations, $500 bond.

• Darylle Robbins Hart, 37, Cumberland — manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, $50,000 bond.

• Todd William Robey, 38, Cumberland — bad checks, released on personal recognizance.

• Juanita Lynn Covalt-Walker, 30, Barton — second-degree assault, burglary, $7,500 bond.

• Kassie Lynell Miller, 25, Cumberland — violation of probation, held without bond.

March 27

• Nancy Maria White, 52, Lonaconing — bad check, released on personal recognizance.

• Jennifer Nichole Dye, 22, Westernport — circuit court indictment for distribution of cocaine, held without bond.

• Bryan Lee Williams, 28, Cumberland — circuit court indictment for distribution of cocaine, held without bond.

• William Forest Matthews Jr., 26, Ridgeley, W.Va. — failure to appear for CDS violations, $3,500 bond.

• Patrick Theodore Wilson, 27, Cumberland — circuit court indictment for possession of marijuana, violation of probation, held without bond.

• April Marie Huckabay, 24, Cumberland — circuit court indictment for distribution of marijuana, held without bond.

March 28

• Brittany Renee Murphy, 20, Cumberland — violation of probation, $1,000 bond.

• William Joel White, 28, Frostburg — failure to appear for child support, held without bond.

• Brittany Lynn McGoye, 22, McCoole — failure to appear for disorderly conduct, $5,000 bond.

• Heron Lloyd Bryan Jr., 25, Cumberland — violation of probation, $215 bond.

• Christian David Allan Collins, 24, LaVale — fugitive warrant for burglary charges in Missouri, held without bond.

• Juanita Lynn Covalt, 30, Barton — violation of probation, held without bond.
