SOMERSET, Pa. — Pennsylvania State Police picked up two Somerset County residents who were wanted on arrest warrants and traveling in the same vehicle Friday evening.
Douglas Everhart of Berlin and Heather Kister of Somerset were stopped in a Dodge Stratus being driven by Brock Peterson of Boswell on Route 219 near the Garrett Shortcut at 7:07 p.m.
Everhart was held in the Somerset County Jail on a warrant for theft on $15,000 bond. He was also charged for having a syringe for heroin use, police said.
Kister was wanted in Westmoreland County and was taken to the county jail. She was charged for having a crack pipe in her purse, police said.
Peterson was charged for having a syringe for heroin and marijuana in the glove compartment and was released, police said.
