— CUMBERLAND —  As part of the continuing investigation into a rash of recent residential burglaries in the Frostburg area, investigators with C3I are attempting to contact victims and have them identify stolen property that has been recovered.

As a result of the investigation, 20-year-old Cole Michael Mc-Cormick of Mount Savage, two 17-year-old boys and a 17-year-old girl, all from the Frostburg area, have been arrested.

The defendants were arrested following a burglary of a Slabtown Road residence early Friday where two occupants were assaulted before McCormick reportedly ran from the scene. He was arrested later as he returned home.

McCormick remained jailed late Monday afternoon at the Allegany County Detention Center on $30,000 bond. The arrested youths also remained in custody of juvenile authorities.

Investigators have learned that the suspects also allegedly broke into numerous vehicles in the Frostburg area and stole items from those vehicles. Police believe that many of the thefts from vehicles have not been reported to law enforcement.

Investigators are urging victims to contact C3I to make arrangements to view the property that has been recovered by calling 301-777-0326.
