Keyser man indicted on arson charges

KEYSER, W.Va. — Robert Lee Suter III, 44, who in February allegedly set his Sunnydale Addition house on fire, is included on the May 2013 term grand jury indictments list provided by the Mineral County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

Suter, currently being held at the Potomac Highlands Regional Jail, is indicted for first- and third-degree arson and destruction of property.  

Preliminary investigation reportedly showed Suter allegedly ignited items in the garage before the fire spread from the garage to the residence that he reportedly occupied with his wife, Barbara Suter.

Two minivans were also destroyed by the fire that caused a loss estimated at $200,000.

The incident also caused damage to the first-responding Keyser fire department ladder truck that partially toppled into Stoney Run when a wooden access bridge collapsed.

Ridgeley Mayor Jim Twigg was indicted on eight felony counts of fraudulent or unauthorized use of a government-issued purchase card.

Sgt. C.E. Leatherman with the Mineral County Sheriff’s Office investigated the matter with the expenditures reportedly occurring in August, September and October of last year.

Other indictments include:

• Matthew Douglas Borror, who is currently incarcerated in the Potomac Highlands Regional Jail, grand larceny; two counts each of misdemeanor breaking and entering, destruction of property and petit larceny.

• David Wayne Tasker, Potomac Highlands Regional Jail, fleeing in a vehicle while driving under the Influence, third offense for DUI, third offense for driving while revoked for DUI and reckless fleeing in a vehicle.  

• Michael Grayson Burkett, Potomac Highlands Regional Jail, three counts each of forgery and accessory to uttering. In a separate incident, Burkett was also indicted for three counts of forgery, three counts of uttering.

• Harold James Bosley, Keyser, malicious wounding.

• Douglas Ray Fazenbaker Jr., Potomac Highlands Regional Jail, burglary, grand larceny, conspiracy, six counts each of forgery and principal in the second degree to uttering.  

• Brandon Lee Bartlett, Alexandria Va., burglary.

• Matthew James Kraft, Keyser, third offense for DUI.

• Jason Paul Kelley, Mount Storm, making threats of terrorist acts; brandishing a firearm and three counts of assault.

• Charles Edward Davis, III, Westernport, burglary and grand larceny.

• Cruiz Cameron Shepherd, Keyser, delivery of a controlled substance.

• Tonya Lenae Poland, Keyser, grand larceny.

• Samuel Jefferson Clark, Burlington, grand larceny, accessory before the fact to burglary, receiving or transferring stolen property and three counts each of of forgery and uttering.

• Robert Shawn Johnston, Piedmont, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver.

• David Marshall Parrish, Keyser, two counts of domestic battery, third offense.

• Harry Louis Matthew Kramer, III,  Potomac Highlands Regional Jail, breaking and entering of a building other than a dwelling.

• Brandon Lee Gardner, Keyser, two counts of obtaining a controlled substance by misrepresentation/fraud; two counts of petit larceny, misdemeanor and attempting to obtain a controlled substance by misrepresentation/fraud.

• Joshua Edward Moellenkamp, Cumberland, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to manufacture or deliver and conspiracy.

• Shawn Michael Cook, Fisher, W.Va., possession of a controlled substance with the intent to manufacture or deliver and conspiracy.

• Malerie Matthews, Upper Marlboro, malicious wounding and conspiracy.

• Vanessa Calloway, Washington, D.C., malicious wounding and conspiracy.

•    Tiara Foster, Washington, D.C., malicious wounding and conspiracy.

• Isaac Russel Smith, Shanks, W.Va., attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory and conspiracy.

• Tina Louise Scott, Petersburg, attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory and conspiracy.

• Jeremy Allen House, Cumberland, malicious wounding; grand larceny; domestic battery, misdemeanor and domestic assault.

• Brian Keith Griffin, Keyser, embezzlement and grand larceny.

• Kenneth Allen Gano, Potomac Highlands Regional Jail, two counts of sexual assault in the third-degree.

• William Lee Dixon, Warfordsburg, Pa., soliciting a minor via computer, possessing material depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct, two counts of sexual assault in the third-degree.

• Kenneth Willard Day Jr., Petersburg, false pretenses.

• Brett Morgan Butler, New Creek, malicious wounding.

• Wanda Renee Crabtree, Fort Ashby, embezzlement.

• Tyson Cecil Berg, Maysville two counts of forgery and two counts of uttering.

• Patricia Jackson, Potomac Highlands Regional Jail, malicious wounding.

• Ricky Ray Stewart Jr., Keyser, a third offense for failure to register or provide notice of change on sex offender registration.

• Jason Evers George, Rawlings, grand larceny and removal of a theft detection device.

• Daniella Louise-Catherine Webre, Fort Ashby, burglary, grand larceny, conspiracy and false swearing.

• Levi Scott Conard, Potomac Highlands Regional Jail, receiving or transferring stolen property, conspiracy, and false swearing.

 • Krystal Ann Canfield, Cumberland, obtaining a controlled substance by misrepresentation/fraud and conspiracy.

• Joshua Ian Cline, Cumberland, attempting to obtain a controlled substance by misrepresentation/fraud and conspiracy.

• William Moye III, Baltimore, attempting to obtain a controlled substance by misrepresentation/fraud and conspiracy.

• Tracy Dawn Harris-Self, Cumberland, obtaining a controlled substance by misrepresentation/fraud and conspiracy.

• Brandi Dennise Barger, Cumberland, attempting to obtain a controlled substance by misrepresentation/fraud and conspiracy.
