Police investigate convenience store robbery in Keyser

Leads developed in weekend incident that injures worker

— KEYSER, W.Va. — Leads have been developed in the investigation of Saturday’s daytime robbery of the Main Street Convenience Store, according to the Keyser Police Department.

The incident in the 200 block of Main Street caused injury to an employee of the business. However, the victim did not require medical treatment, police said.

The holdup occurred shortly after 11 a.m. when the suspect obtained an unspecified sum of cash from the business. Police said no weapon was displayed.

Keyser Police said Tuesday the investigation is continuing and evidence related to the crime was recovered in the area of the business.
