Bus stopping in city on way to D.C. parent rally

To the Editor:

Due to the concern of the Maryland Fathers Rights League and West Virginia Men and Women Against Discrimination, the CRISPE bus - Children's Rights Initiative for Shared Parenting - will stop in Cumberland tomorrow to support 50/50 shared parenting, grandparent visitation rights and sibling visitation rights.

The CRISPE bus originated in California and has been zig-zagging the U.S. since early June. Its final destination is Washington, D.C., where a rally will be held Saturday, in conjunction with nationwide rallies. As they are riding across the country, CRISPE supporters are also drawing attention to the corrupt family law system.

The CRISPE bus will arrive in Cumberland tomorrow morning at the Allegany County Circuit Court building, 30 Washington St., with a rally slated for 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. This rally will also directly benefit the concerned local citizens of Hampshire, Mineral, Hardy, Grant, Jefferson, Berkeley, Morgan and Pendleton counties in West Virginia.
