Why are there no answers to these questions?

CUMBERLAND — We currently have the most corrupt administration in the history of the country. Every day more and more lies come from the Obama administration.

Three scandals recently came to light on Obama and his cronies. The Benghazi scandal, the IRS scandal, and the AP scandal. Three scandals that have rocked the White House.

First we have the Benghazi scandal, where on Sept. 11, 2012, four Americans were murdered, including our own ambassador, by radical Islamists at the U.S. Embassy in Benghazi. While they were under attack they called for help, but no help arrived.

The White House blamed the attacks on a YouTube video that was offensive to Muslims. It seemed strange to blame a video considering nobody had ever seen the video.

The deaths of four Americans doesn’t seem to bother anyone in the Obama administration as Hillary Clinton recently said about the attacks, “What difference at this point does it make?”

It has now been revealed that help was ready to come to the aid of the four Americans, but the help was ordered to stand down. Who ordered them to stand down, and why was our ambassador at the embassy? That’s a question nobody from the Obama administration is willing to answer.

The real reason the embassy was attacked was because it was the anniversary of 9/11. Barack Obama, however, wanted to cover up the truth so he blamed it on a video.

After Osama Bin Laden was killed, Obama proclaimed that terrorism had ended. The attack on the embassy in Benghazi proved otherwise, and revealed the weakness of Barack Obama’s foreign policy.

We were told Obama would renew America’s standing in the world, and peace would live everywhere. As it turns out however, under the leadership of Barack Obama (or lack thereof), the United States is hated even more by our enemies. Radical Islamists are in the Middle East burning images of Barack Obama, and after the aftermath of the Boston Marathon bombings, we learned radical Islam is now here in the streets of America.

Next we have the IRS scandal, in which the IRS admitted to targeting conservative groups. Franklin Graham, Tea Party groups, and Jewish groups were among those harassed by the IRS.

If you didn’t support Obama, you were going to be bullied and intimidated by the IRS. Barack Obama said he had no idea it was happening, and that he just found out about it recently in the newspaper.

Finally, we have the AP scandal in which the Justice Department seized phone records of Associated Press reporters. Attorney General Eric Holder, sounding a lot like Obama, said he didn’t know anything about it.

After all of this one has to wonder why aren’t impeachment proceedings already taking place? Richard Nixon resigned for far less and, as you know, nobody died in Watergate.

  • Remember, we’re not immune to extinction

I’d like to pose a theoretical scenario to Cal Thomas.

If a medical specialist said, “Cal, you’ve got a serious physical problem. Do nothing and you’ll die soon. Follow my prescription, which involves certain life-style changes, and there’s a good probability you’ll live, even if your life may be a bit more constrained than now.”

  • Tell legislators to do what is right for America’s vets

Without our veterans and those who made the ultimate sacrifice, where would America be today? It is anyone’s guess, however certainly not the Freedom and Liberty we enjoy.

  • Move over Move over

Have you noticed, in your travels, that the front end of a police cruiser usually protrudes a bit more than you would expect when the officer has it parked behind another vehicle on the side of the road?

An open letter to the electrical power companies in West Virginia and Maryland:
The return of electrical power to my home recently, after its unexpected failure for approximately 48 hours, as a result of such a sudden and violent storm, reminded me anew of how much I take for granted.

In response to Frank J. Clark’s well intentioned letter, “Don’t be too quick to legalize marijuana use,” July 10 Times-News), I believe that his letter misses the point of legalizing and regulating marijuana.
