Fire victims remain grateful to all those who helped them

—  Quickly approaching the one year anniversary of the fire that uprooted our lives, we wanted to take the moment and thank everyone who helped us, although it was said every night in our prayers.

Words could not express the amount of gratitude we have for the amount of love we have been shown since last November.

Everyone was not only so understanding, but so giving. It meant so much to know that when something horrible happens there are still caring people out there to share so willingly.

Although it has been almost a year since that night, it is still fresh in our minds, and we will never forget all the support, caring, generosity, and most of all, all the love.

Without that we don't know where we would be. We have since been able to find a new home and begin anew.

And with a new addition to our family on the way we wanted to express our gratitude to everyone.

Thank you to the firefighters and their amazing response time.  To all the organizations and church groups. To all of our family and friends. And to all the people that gave so willingly although you may not have known us personally.

So to all of you, and you know who you are, thank you. You will not be forgotten.

Love,

Darla Malloy, Rick, William

and soon-to-come Adria Long
