Which buck is it, and where is it supposed to stop?

Barack Obama has made Nixon look like a choir boy! “Obama worse than Nixon” the supermarket tabloid’s headlines read recently.

Maybe they will win a Pulitzer just as the Midnight Inquirer did for exposing the exploits of John Edwards, father of the year, two and half years before every one else chose to expose.

“You know I taught constitutional law for 10 years at the University of Chicago, so … um … your next president will actually believe in the Constitution which you can’t say about your current president,” said Barack Obama while campaigning. (Oh yeah! Maybe not, I say.)

“So I want a president … I want a Supreme Court that is not just giving the president a blank check for whatever power grab he or she is engaging in.” (Oh no, no power grabbing being done by this president... if you breathe you must own insurance, the government has right to tax economic activity or inactivity, what you own and what you don’t own, per Justice John Roberts.)

“By the way, that also means that when I’m president one of the first things I’m going to do is call in my attorney general and say to him or her I want you to review every executive order that’s been issued by George Bush — whether it relates to warrantless wiretaps, or detaining people or reading e-mails, or whatever it is — I want you to go through every single one of them and if they are unconstitutional or they are encroaching on civil liberties unnecessarily we are going to overturn them … we are going to change them ... . My attorney general will be accountable,” candidate Obama continues.

I can feel the love, even now. The press was so excited! What a man this candidate Obama is!

Obama makes Nixon look like a choir boy. Here are some of Bob Dylan’s famous lines that apply to President Obama: “While one sings with his tongue fire he gargles in the rat race choir.”

James Goodale, the lawyer for The New York Times in the Pentagon Papers case against the Nixon administration, declared in the Times that “Obama is going to be worse than Nixon.”

Let’s see we have: Benghazi, Fast and Furious, Associated Press wiretaps, James Rosen wiretaps, NSA snooping on millions, the IRS targeting taxpayers, and disclosing confidential information to leftist organizations, a sex scandal at the state department are ones that he and his appointees and subordinates, Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice, Lois Lerner, Doug Schulman, and Robert Mueller ... “know nothing” about them.

Maybe we need an “All the President’s Men, the Sequel.”

“I don’t know, Congressman” say the attorney general, secretary of state, the national security advisor, the IRS commissioner, the director of tax exempt organizations, and the director of the FBI. I guess the buck stops nowhere. Maybe we need to get Ben Bernanke in this. (He’ll probably ask ...”Which buck?”)

Continuing with Dylan’s epic “It’s Alright Ma, (I’m only Bleeding)”:

It goes, “While preachers preach of evil fates, Teachers teach that knowledge waits, Can lead to hundred-dollar plates, Goodness hides behind its gates, But even the President of the United States ... Sometimes must have to stand naked.” Well, that time has come.

Surely, the Globe is not the only one to see that “ The Emperor has no clothes” ... except those rags that are given to him by the morally superior press.
