Maybe we’ll have to start registering our cooking knives

I am responding to the letter by Mike Detrick (“Politicians should be ousted for violating the U.S. Constitution”) on April 10.

As far as I’m concerned he is heading in the right direction. Our politicians here in Maryland and Washington could care less about “We, the People” or the Constitution of the United State of America.

It is my belief that Obama and O”Malley are cloned. They both think they are above the law when it comes to what the Constitution says.

“We, the People” are at fault because we elected these clowns. There are so many politicians in office today that have found a home in politics.

They do not care what “We, the People” think. We will do as we please because those suckers, “We, the People,” will elect us again and again.

We need a change in Annapolis, and we need a change in Washington. It is time to kick those that won’t listen to “We, the People”out of office. If everyone, that owns any kind of a firearm would turn out and vote against those that voted for gun control “We, the People” could and would send those in politics a message of either listen to “We, the Voters” or look for a new job.

I guess after reading the paper April 10 (“Student arrested in Texas college stabbing attack,” Page 2A) and seeing where a student in Cypress, Texas, stabbed 14 other students, we will now have to register all our knives (pocket knives, steak knives butter knives butcher knives, hunting knives). Is that the way it works, Mr. Obama and Mr. O’Malley?
