Early morning hours not a good time to be out on Greene Street

To the Editor:
Cumberland Times-News

— Greene Street has become a race track and cell phone craze for drivers. Starting at around 6 a.m. and until 3 a.m., some of the cars and vehicles on our streets have become unbearable.

No way can these vehicles pass inspection. After inspection they are being transformed into race vehicles with mufflers installed to sound like race cars.

People are pulling out in front of others while they are texting and talking on cell phones. There is no enforcement of speeding or cell phone use at all on Greene Street. Sorry if the truth hurts or until it is too late when someone gets killed or run over and badly hurt.
