Brick streets may be the answer to city’s potholes

Driving through our city, I see that the streets and road surfaces are nothing but potholes and crumbling blacktop. It’s hard to avoid them and not damage your vehicle in the process.

I can’t see why the city can’t just get rid of the blacktop and replace it with brick like it was years ago. Even when they resurface the streets you can still see the remnants of the old bricks and how good a shape they are in. There are only a few streets in town that I know of that are still brick.

I do believe it’s high time the city figures out a way to repair our streets and not patch them before it becomes a big problem.
