Put federal departments under control of the states

— Congress is considering cutting Social Security and Medicare, according to AARP. This would be devastating to millions of Americans, and their excuse is because of the deficit.

Over the years, Congress has borrowed trillions of dollars from Social Security to keep the budget solvent and they have still amassed huge deficits with their so-called intellectual abilities.

I am asking the citizens of America to petition their representatives to make the necessary cuts in the U.S. Departments of Education and the Interior and put these departments under the control of the states, which can comply with the 10th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, The Bill of Rights.

It is vital that the retirees’ hard-earned contributions to Social Security and Medicare be protected.
