They’re not really your children; they’re part of the ‘collective’

A judge can determine that any 15-year-old girl can, without a prescription administer to herself the “morning after pill.”

But adult parents are not capable of raising their own children. That is the province of the secular state!

How is it we as individuals are so flawed and incompetent that we cannot take care of our offspring, as the lowliest of animals do, but collectively we become godlike in our wisdom?

This is how Melissa Harris-Perry calmly explains how your children don’t really belong to you — they belong to the collective:

“We have never invested as much in public education as we should have because we’ve always had a private notion of children, your kid is yours and totally your responsibility. We haven’t had a very collective notion of these as our children.

“So part of it is we have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents or kids belong to their families and recognize that kids belong to whole communities. Once it’s everybody’s responsibility and not just the household’s we start making better investments.”

While I very rarely hear anyone use the term “ownership” when referring to their children, if it would be applicable in any context, it would be the parents that would fulfill that role.

The claim of Ms. Harris-Perry that “kids do not belong to their parents, kids belong to whole communities,” should infuriate every American. You are just biological conduits! You are too stupid to indoctrinate these biological units in the liberal orthdoxy! So we must!

Remember it takes a village (Hillary Clinton); a village of idiots to put parents in the secondary position of raising their children. These are the same ones who designated Bill Clinton as Father of the Year last year. And John Edwards in 2007! These are the gay marriage advocates, as well!

“You didn’t build that! Somebody else built that!”

Now they aren’t even your children. When are you going to have enough? When? When will you see that the road to slavery is paved with the bricks of socialism?

In the words of the Buffalo Springfield’s Steven Stills “ I think it’s time we stop, children, what’s that sound, everybody look what’s going down”

 These are the people that are teaching our children. One hundred years from now, It won’t matter what car you drove;What kind of house you lived in; How much you had in your bank account; Nor what your clothes looked like;

But, the world may be a little better because you were important in the life of your children. You instilled values. You did not let them become political pawns.

This is truly one of the most disturbing things I have heard in quite some time. Read Ayn Rand’s Anthem written in 1937 to see where we are headed! It is pretty bleak.

  • It might not be a problem, but a possibility

God certainly orchestrates circumstances that cause us to marvel. The recent flood In Cresaptown that Calvary Baptist Church/School endured is proving to be yet another miracle birthed out of devastation.

  • Common Core curriculum is bad news for West Virginians

If something is not done soon, the vast majority of American K-12 school children will be taught using dubious, federally backed national education “standards” that have come under fire from across the political spectrum.

  • Remember, we’re not immune to extinction

I’d like to pose a theoretical scenario to Cal Thomas.

If a medical specialist said, “Cal, you’ve got a serious physical problem. Do nothing and you’ll die soon. Follow my prescription, which involves certain life-style changes, and there’s a good probability you’ll live, even if your life may be a bit more constrained than now.”

Have you noticed, in your travels, that the front end of a police cruiser usually protrudes a bit more than you would expect when the officer has it parked behind another vehicle on the side of the road?
