To the Editor:
His name is Jesus! Let’s all celebrate Christmas with Jesus in mind this season. Jesus Christ is born.
“Behold a virgin is with child and shall bring forth a son and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted as God with us. Matthew 1:23.
It’s the greatest celebration f all. It’s a time to celebrate with family and friends, sharing lots of love and happiness.
Presents are nice, but most important is that Jesus came into this world as a baby, lying in a manger and then died on a cross to save us from our sins. He arose on the third day.
Jesus is coming agin, and it won’t be long. Get ready! What a day that will be.
It’s great to start your day with Jesuss, because He is someone who cares. Jesus will never leave you nor forsake you. He watches over you.
As you celebrate Christmas, remember to have some wonderful times. Enjoy your family most of all. Show lots of love and happiness. May everyone have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Once again we are going to have our Christmas program at the Pentecostal Holiness Church on Dec. 22 at 6 p.m. on Fayette Street. There will be lots of singing. It will be a time of fellowship.
Don’t forget to count your blessings.
