Here is the tolerance that we should be practicing

In a day we are asked to have tolerance for all areas of our life. What once was forbidden is now encouraged. Self control, marriage, humility, chastity, God, love of our country are no longer normal.

We nave been asked by the attorney general to be more tolerant in lesser sentences for drug dealers since this is not a violent crime.

A judge recently gave probation to three young boys who beat up a 13-year-old, even broke his legs for exposing them for dealing in drugs.

Tolerance is the word of the day for alternate life styles, marriage isn't necessary just live together for a while. Same sex marriage is okay. Profanity and rap music are common place.

Yes, we must be tolerant about everything. No, everything is not recognized by the vast majority. God, being used positively is not finding tolerance.

The Bible is not finding tolerance although, our forefathers used the principles in writing the constitution. Christianity and Judaism are not tolerant.

As I am writing this letter they are attacking the military to refrain from expressing their faith and witness of Jesus Christ.

Please don't think I am totally intolerant because I'm not. We do live in a supposedly free country. So, I'm asking for tolerance of God and we who believe in the Bible.

God's Word states we receive the witness of men, isn't the witness of God greater. What is His witness 1st. John 5:12,13: He that hath the Son hath life and he that hath not the Son hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God that ye may know that you have eternal life.

John 3:16: For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten So that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Please have tolerance and God. Written by a sinner saved by God's grace. Eph.2:8-10.

  • Remember, we’re not immune to extinction

I’d like to pose a theoretical scenario to Cal Thomas.

If a medical specialist said, “Cal, you’ve got a serious physical problem. Do nothing and you’ll die soon. Follow my prescription, which involves certain life-style changes, and there’s a good probability you’ll live, even if your life may be a bit more constrained than now.”

  • Tell legislators to do what is right for America’s vets

Without our veterans and those who made the ultimate sacrifice, where would America be today? It is anyone’s guess, however certainly not the Freedom and Liberty we enjoy.

Have you noticed, in your travels, that the front end of a police cruiser usually protrudes a bit more than you would expect when the officer has it parked behind another vehicle on the side of the road?

An open letter to the electrical power companies in West Virginia and Maryland:

In response to Frank J. Clark’s well intentioned letter, “Don’t be too quick to legalize marijuana use,” July 10 Times-News), I believe that his letter misses the point of legalizing and regulating marijuana.
