Springfield (W.Va.) Postmaster Betty Love, as Marge Simpson, hand cancels the Simpsons’ new commemorative postage stamp at the Hampshire County facility Thursday. The post office hosted a celebration for the issuance of the new stamp with a special pictorial cancellation featuring Marge Simpson offered at the event. Customers can still request a free pictorial cancellation by mail for 30 days by sending a stamped envelope or postcard to Marge Simpson Station, P.O. Box 9998, Springfield, WV 26763. The price of a first-class stamp jumps to 44 cents beginning today.
