Dressed as pirates, 7-year-old Dylan Printy, left, and 11-year-old Joe McKenzie, both from Frostburg, use straws to blow paper boats they made in a race Wednesday afternoon at City Place in Frostburg during the Frostburg Pirate Express. Youngsters were given the opportunity to ride the scenic train to the Mountain City where they had lunch, made crafts, had a costume contest, had photos taken and learned from a pirate book author in the event organized by Frostburg State University Children's Literature Centre and Frostburg First. The event was funded by many local businesses.
