Tiffany Kiser, transport coordinator for respiratory care services at the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, arrived at the Western Maryland Health System’s Memorial Hospital helipad Thursday. Kiser was part of a team lead by Dr. Bruce Klein, division chief of transport medicine at the medical center, who made a site visit to Cumberland. The members met with local pediatricians and WMHS Emergency Department staff in the event that local patients are transported to their facility by helicopter for pediatric care. Kiser is a native of Cumberland and attended Fort Hill High School. Her parents, Spotty and Martha Kiser, as well as her aunt and uncle, Betty and Bill Hollar, also greeted her.
