Pennsylvania police arrest suspected heroin supplier

EVERETT, Pa. — A suspected heroin supplier in the Everett area was arrested early Friday morning when Pennsylvania State Police and the Bedford County Drug Task Force raided his residence for the second time in a two-month period.
James William Anderson, 26, who was arrested in December, was again taken into custody after police executed a search warrant at 6:35 a.m. in the 8400 block of Black Valley Road, according to Bedford County District Attorney Bill Higgins.
Police reportedly seized nearly one ounce of suspected heroin, $1,665 in cash, a 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier and a truck load of assets believed to be derived from proceeds of controlled dangerous substance sales. The total value of the items is approximately $17,000, according to Higgins.
Anderson was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail was set at $500,000; a preliminary hearing has been set for Wednesday.
Victoria Morse, 21, Artemas, was also arrested in connection with the raid for delivery of a controlled substance, conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Higgins.
A third individual, Warren Corle, 23, McConnelsburg, was also arrested on a probation/parole violation. Additional charges are expected to be filed, according to Higgins.
