ACTION:
n Adopted the Salary Study Commission’s recommendation for compensation for public officials unanimously.
n Approved a one-year contract extension with CONMED Inc. for medical services at the detention center for fiscal 2010 for $892,402 — a 2.5 percent increase.
n Scheduled public hearings for the regulation and management of wind energy devices for 7 p.m. March 19 and for the Miller Bottom Industrial Complex to rezone 104 acres along state Route 36 north of Midland to general urban from agricultural for 7 p.m. March 26.
NEXT MEETING: Thursday at the County Office Complex on Kelly Road. Work session at 9:30 a.m., public meeting at 11 a.m.
