Car carrier crashes on I-68
FROSTBURG - No one was injured when a car carrier pulled by a pickup traveled out of control and caused two hearses to break loose on eastbound Interstate 68 east of Frostburg shortly after 7 a.m. Wednesday.
Maryland State Police Tfc. K.R. Zuzak reported Robert Kinman, 40, of Cincinnati was operating a 2000 Chevrolet pickup and pulling a car carrier carrying two hearses east of state Route 36 when the vehicle traveled out of control.
The vehicle and car carrier then skidded, which caused the vehicle to travel into the median when both hearses broke loose from the car carrier.
Kinman and a passenger, Todd Birch, 35, also of Cincinnati, were not injured. No emergency fire or rescue units were dispatched, according to the Allegany County 911 Joint Communications Division. The State Highway Administration, however, sent staff to the scene to help remove the wreckage. Two towing companies also responded.

As an investigation into the incident continued, Lepley said officers discovered two adults had been involved. Police obtained an arrest warrant for Donald Carl Rogers, 50, and a criminal summons for his wife, Brenda Lee Rogers, 41, both of Cumberland.
After locating the couple Wednesday, they were charg-ed with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Bond was set at $10,000 for Donald Rogers. He remained in the Allegany County Detention Center Wednesday night.
