CUMBERLAND - The C3I Fugitive Unit arrested a city man Wednesday on several outstanding warrants and then arrested a second man Thursday who allegedly harbored him as a fugitive.
Joshua Ian Cline, 32, was arrested at a Bedford Road residence when he was served seven arrest warrants by the fugitive unit.
The warrants were for failure to appear in court on various charges including felony theft, motor vehicle theft, first- and second-degree assault, possession of marijuana, violation of a protective order and three counts of fourth-degree burglary.
Cline was jailed at the Allegany County Detention Center on $40,000 bond following bail review in district court.
The C3I Fugitive Unit arrested Jason Scott Robinette, 32, of Bedford Road on charges of obstruction of justice and harboring a fugitive.
The charges were obtained for Robinette in connection with the arrest of Cline, who was apprehended at Robinette's residence, police said.
Following a bond hearing, Robinette was jailed in lieu of $5,000 bond at the Allegany County Detention Center, pending bail review Friday in district court.
