Goldsworthy Scholars - the top 10 scholars of Keyser High School's graduating class - were honored by the Keyser Lions Club Thursday. Scholars not pictured are Eric Walker, Kourtni Roby and Andrew Gilbert. James W. Goldsworthy is remembered as one of Mineral County's most beloved educators and humanitarians. Goldsworthy was the first Keyser High graduate to return as the school's principal. Academically, he is perhaps best remembered as the initiator, with the Keyser Lions Club, of the scholars program.
