Bishop Walsh third-grader Loren O’Rourke uses a chalkboard to do a mathematics problem in social studies class during the annual Pioneer Day event Friday morning at the school. Students wore pioneer clothing, used chalkboards for their studies, read the Bible and learned about pioneer culture.
