County reschedules Clarysville meeting
CLARYSVILLE — The public meeting for the Braddock Headwaters Regional Comprehensive Plan will not be held this month. It has been rescheduled for June 25 at 7 p.m. at the Clarysville Fire Hall.
The planning region includes Eckhart, Clarysville, Vale Summit and a portion of east Frostburg.

All library branches closed Memorial Day
CUMBERLAND — All branches of the Allegany County Library System will be closed Monday for Memorial Day. The Washington Street Library will also be closed Sunday.
Library branches will reopen for their regular hours Tuesday and the library’s Online Library will be available 24/7 during this closure.
The Allegany County Library System operates six branches, Washington Street, Frostburg, South Cumberland, LaVale, Georges Creek and Westernport.
