Knife-wielding suspect robs Bel Air drug store

CUMBERLAND — No one was injured when a man armed with a knife robbed Steve’s Pharmacy in the Bel Air Plaza on U.S. Route 220 on Thursday afternoon.

At about 2 p.m., a man wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt entered the store and then fled with an undetermined amount of drugs, according to preliminary reports from Maryland State Police.

Troopers and investigators with the C3I Unit remained at the scene about two hours.
