From Staff Reports
Cumberland Times-News

Above: John Felten of Wiley Ford, W.Va., competes for the fastest time of the day on a mile-long course in his formula contender Reynard-Ford in the B modified class Saturday afternoon at the Greater Cumberland Regional Airport. The Cumberland Airport Autocross Series is celebrating seven years of its return to racing at the facility as racing from decades past had ceased until recently. The competition continues today at the airport with 100 competitors from across the country. Bottom left photo: Laurence Casey from the Capital Area Cobra Club of Middletown, Md., races his factory 5 Cobra reproduction in the X prepared class. Bottom right photos: Participants get a chance to look at a tribute car modeled after the 1963 Corvette Grand Sport assembled by Doug Dearie of Bowie, Md. One of the only five Grand Sports ever made once raced at the airport.
