Week focuses on special ed
FROSTBURG - The Frostburg State University College of Education will offer the Joe Divico Special Education Summer Institute from June 25 through 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The institute provides special topics to aid in the learning process of students and adults identified with developmentally disabled and special education needs.
Guest speakers and special education professionals facilitate the program. There is no cost for noncredit attendance. Graduate credit is available. Contact the FSU Office of Graduate Services at (301) 687-7053 for more details.

Development group to meet
KEYSER, W.Va. - The Mineral County Development Authority will meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the second-floor conference room at the Grand Central Business Center.
Pendleton bridge to be replaced
FRANKLIN, W.Va. - The West Virginia Division of Highways has awarded a $385,118 contract to SMH Construction Co. of Beckley to replace the Root Run Bridge along county Route 9 in Pendleton County.
