LAST MEETING: Thursday

ACTION:

• Approved a job description for the new position of community development project leader and will advertise it soon.

• Amended and balanced the existing budget that is in effect through the end of June.

• Approved the first reading of an ordinance that provides clarifying language in the review of property changes by the Historic District Commission. A formal public hearing will take place July 16.

• Appointed Dawn M. Hein to the Historic District Commission. Hein fills until Jan. 14, 2011, a seat vacated by resignation.

PROCLAMATIONS:

• Neilson-Wellings Day, family reunion, June 20.

• Cruisin’ Main Street, Back in the Fifties Day Sept. 3.

NEXT MEETING: Thursday, July 16,

7 p.m., 27 S. Water St., Frostburg Community Center.
