MORGANTOWN — Jackie Riggleman, daughter of Greg and Karen Riggleman, Moorefield, was crowned Miss West Virginia’s Outstanding Teen on June 20 in Morgantown during the live broadcast of the Miss West Virginia Pageant.
A senior at Moorefield High School, Riggleman, will spend the next year promoting her character education platform, “Reaching for the STARS,” across the state.
“I feel very honored and blessed to have been given this opportunity,” said Riggleman. “I am looking forward to meeting people across the state and laying a strong character education foundation for the children of West Virginia.”
Riggleman will also travel to Orlando, Fla., in August to represent West Virginia in the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen pageant.
