Local residents celebrated Independence Day in traditional fashion Saturday with picnics, fireworks and Frostburg’s annual Derby Day. Above: Fireworks light up the Cumberland sky Saturday night, capping a daylong celebration at Constitution Park. The annual display was set off by Schaefer Pyrotechnics Inc. of Ronks, Pa.
