Peace Walk

Michael Russell of Chicago walks along US. Route 50 east of Junction as part of the cross-country March for Peace.
Russell joined the walk in Crawfordsville, Ind., and has traveled more than 550 miles on foot so far.
The group has seven people walking now, with one support car.
They plan to arrive in Washington on Monday.
Two of the walkers joined the walk in San Franciso, two joined in Omaha, Neb., one in Preoria, Ill., and one in Detroit.
The March for Peace was initiated by Ashley Casale, 19, an upstate New York native just out of her freshman year at Wesleyan University in Connecticut.
