Alma Frase sits at left amongst holiday decorations at the Ye Olde Homestead in Fort Ashby, W.Va. The Homestead will hold its 23rd annual old-fashioned open house Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The Homestead, located on state Route 28 south of the Route 46 intersection, was one of the first three houses built by settlers in the town in 1789. Open house hours are from 1 to 5 p.m.
